Create Tulsa is dedicated to fostering the growth and success of Tulsa's diverse artistic community. By hosting quarterly events in collaboration with local organizations and venues, Create Tulsa offers educational resources, artist panel discussions, exhibitions, and creative networking opportunities.

These initiatives empower artists of all media to enhance their skills, build connections, and sustain their creative practices while contributing to the city's cultural and economic vitality.

2025 Events

Event Series: Senses

  • Sight – An event showcasing local visual artists, offering an opportunity to present their work and share insights into their creative journeys.

  • Sound – A gathering featuring musicians, comedians, and spoken word poets, highlighting the Tulsa creative scene.

  • Taste – A culinary-focused event bringing together local chefs to create an interactive cultural experience.

  • Smell & Touch – Featuring sculptors, tactile artists, and perfumers, providing a hands-on artistic engagement experience. Each event integrates food, beverages, and music to foster networking opportunities.

Workshop Series

  • How the Makers Made It – A panel of Tulsa creatives sharing their paths to sustainable careers in the arts.

  • Community-Driven Workshops – Two additional workshops determined based on ongoing feedback and emerging needs.

Senses Series: Sight

Create Tulsa Senses Series: Sight, a Visual Arts Resource Fair

Presented in partnership with Scraps Designs and Tulsa Artist Fellowship

May 10, at Studio 101 at the Tulsa Artist Fellowship, from 4-9pm

At this event, local visual arts serving organizations assemble to share and display resources and enjoy community. Come learn about what Tulsa’s visual arts community has to offer, and enjoy a relaxing environment for creative folks to slow down and connect during the festival.

From 4-7pm, sign up for a FREE one-on-one consultation with local experts on topics ranging from grant-writing, art pricing, game development and more. Just click the box for the topics you’re interested, and organizers will be in contact

From 7-9pm, enjoy music and refreshments while you enjoy new friends and connections.
