2025 NYC Package

  • Arrive in NYC with a direct flight from Tulsa to LaGuardia. Group transportation takes you to the centrally located Hilton Times Square, perfectly positioned in the heart of Manhattan’s theater district. This modern hotel features spacious rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning views of Times Square and the New York City skyline. Complimentary breakfast is included throughout your stay, ensuring you’re energized for every adventure.

    While waiting to check into the hotel, enjoy a Private Welcome Reception, where you’ll mingle with fellow travelers while savoring delicious food and drinks. As a special treat, Mark Frie, CEO of the Tulsa Performing Arts Center and TONY voter, will share an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Broadway, including how the TONY Awards work and what makes a show award-worthy.

    After checking in and settling into your room, cap off the evening by attending your first Broadway performance (shows will be announced in spring), setting the stage for an unforgettable trip.

  • Spend the day your way! Explore NYC’s many attractions, from Rockefeller Center to Bryant Park, or join one of the TPAC-organized excursions (details announced in Spring).

    In the evening, enjoy a family-style Italian feast at the iconic Carmine’s. Afterward, experience another dazzling Broadway show.

    Looking for even more nighttime fun? Take on the “Mark Frie Pub Crawl Challenge”, a curated adventure through some of NYC’s best bars and pubs. Collect points by visiting handpicked spots, completing fun tasks, and creating memorable stories along the way!

  • Enjoy a matinee performance on Broadway, immersing yourself further in the magic of live theater.

    That evening, indulge in a classic New York dining experience at the legendary Keens Steakhouse, a New York institution since 1885. Known for its old-world charm, signature Filet Mignon, and historic collection of clay pipes, Keens has hosted presidents, celebrities, and literary legends.

    For those looking to keep the energy going after dinner, explore NYC’s vibrant nightlife, from rooftop lounges to jazz clubs—or continue your Pub Crawl Challenge!

  • Spend the morning exploring the city at your leisure—whether it’s shopping along Fifth Avenue, visiting a nearby museum, or grabbing a final NYC bagel—before group transportation returns you to LaGuardia for a direct flight back to Tulsa, concluding an unforgettable cultural escape.

FAQs

  • Is there an age requirement for this trip? There is no age restriction for our patrons. However, the experience has been curated with adults in mind. Broadway shows may contain adult themes, and alcohol is included in the reception and dining experiences.

  • What expenses are not covered by the package? Luggage, NYC day-to-day transportation (The location of our hotel provides walkability to all the theatres and Carmines. Keen’s is walkable for those that enjoy a 10-15 minute walk through the city or a 10 minute subway ride. Taxis and Ubers are available from the hotel if that is your preferred form of transportation), Extra activities you choose to enjoy during your free time, Extra meals, Additional Charges made to the hotel room (i.e. room service, damages, etc.)

  • Are all venues accessible? The group transportation to and from the airport will have a few steps at the entrance to the bus. Keen’s dining experience occurs on the 2nd level of the restaurant and does not have elevator access. All other venues and theatres have accessible entrances. If you choose to take the subway, some stops have elevator access, but not all.

  • When will the shows be announced? Since Mark Frie, the CEO of TPAC, has the incredible responsibility to view each new Broadway show prior to the Tony’s each year, we will announce the shows in early Summer. This allows us to curate the best shows for our patrons based on Mark’s Tony-voting insight, as well as ensure that the shows we want will still be running in October.

  • What does the TPAC get out of this adventure? It is the TPAC’s desire to invest in the celebration of live theatre with like-minded arts patrons. This adventure is curated by the TPAC staff, and we receive no additional revenue or kickbacks from providing this experience to our patrons. All funds received in association with this trip go directly toward the NYC experience costs.  

  • How much walking is there on this trip? NYC is an extremely walkable city, with access to multiple forms of transportation including subway trains, taxis, Ubers, and pedicabs. The TPAC staff will provide guided group walks to and from the hotel for each experience. Anyone who prefers to take other forms of transportation will be responsible for any costs associated. The distance from The Hilton Times Square to our known venues are as follows:

    • Hilton to Carmine’s: 0.3 miles

    • Hilton to Keen’s Steakhouse: 1 mile

    • Hilton to Theatres: Approximately 0.4-0.8 miles

  • Can I pay in installments? YES! A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to secure each person’s spot on the trip.  Once registration closes, our staff will send monthly emails with your remaining balance and links to make payments. The deadline to pay your full amount is June 1, 2025.

  • Is this trip refundable if something comes up? All payments are non-refundable. However, due to the overwhelming interest in this trip, the TPAC will do our best to find someone that can travel in your place. If your spot can be filled by other patrons, you will receive a full refund. Refunds are issued within 2-3 weeks of confirmation of replacement.

  • Is this trip customizable? The curated package cannot be altered. If patrons wish to make changes, such as upgrades to airline seats or hotels, they can do so directly through the vendors and are responsible for any additional costs associated.
