Arrive in NYC with a direct flight from Tulsa to LaGuardia. Group transportation takes you to the centrally located Hilton Times Square, perfectly positioned in the heart of Manhattan’s theater district. Known for its old-world charm, signature Filet Mignon, and historic collection of clay pipes, Keens has hosted presidents, celebrities, and literary legends. As a special treat, Mark Frie, CEO of the Tulsa Performing Arts Center and TONY voter, will share an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Broadway, including how the TONY Awards work and what makes a show award-worthy.

FAQs
Is there an age requirement for this trip? There is no age restriction for our patrons. However, the experience has been curated with adults in mind. Broadway shows may contain adult themes, and alcohol is included in the reception and dining experiences.
What expenses are not covered by the package? Luggage, NYC day-to-day transportation (The location of our hotel provides walkability to all the theatres and Carmines. Keen’s is walkable for those that enjoy a 10-15 minute walk through the city or a 10 minute subway ride. Taxis and Ubers are available from the hotel if that is your preferred form of transportation), Extra activities you choose to enjoy during your free time, Extra meals, Additional Charges made to the hotel room (i.e. room service, damages, etc.)
Are all venues accessible? The group transportation to and from the airport will have a few steps at the entrance to the bus. Keen’s dining experience occurs on the 2nd level of the restaurant and does not have elevator access. All other venues and theatres have accessible entrances. If you choose to take the subway, some stops have elevator access, but not all.
When will the shows be announced? Since Mark Frie, the CEO of TPAC, has the incredible responsibility to view each new Broadway show prior to the Tony’s each year, we will announce the shows in early Summer. This allows us to curate the best shows for our patrons based on Mark’s Tony-voting insight, as well as ensure that the shows we want will still be running in October.
What does the TPAC get out of this adventure? It is the TPAC’s desire to invest in the celebration of live theatre with like-minded arts patrons. This adventure is curated by the TPAC staff, and we receive no additional revenue or kickbacks from providing this experience to our patrons. All funds received in association with this trip go directly toward the NYC experience costs.
How much walking is there on this trip? NYC is an extremely walkable city, with access to multiple forms of transportation including subway trains, taxis, Ubers, and pedicabs. The TPAC staff will provide guided group walks to and from the hotel for each experience. Anyone who prefers to take other forms of transportation will be responsible for any costs associated. The distance from The Hilton Times Square to our known venues are as follows:
Hilton to Carmine’s: 0.3 miles
Hilton to Keen’s Steakhouse: 1 mile
Hilton to Theatres: Approximately 0.4-0.8 miles
Can I pay in installments? YES! A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to secure each person’s spot on the trip. Once registration closes, our staff will send monthly emails with your remaining balance and links to make payments. The deadline to pay your full amount is June 1, 2025.
Is this trip refundable if something comes up? All payments are non-refundable. However, due to the overwhelming interest in this trip, the TPAC will do our best to find someone that can travel in your place. If your spot can be filled by other patrons, you will receive a full refund. Refunds are issued within 2-3 weeks of confirmation of replacement.
Is this trip customizable? The curated package cannot be altered. If patrons wish to make changes, such as upgrades to airline seats or hotels, they can do so directly through the vendors and are responsible for any additional costs associated.
