A new school year brings fresh opportunities to learn, grow, and dream big. At the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, it also marks the return of TPAC TalentED, our education initiative that inspires students of all ages to discover the transformative power of the performing arts.
Through seven engaging programs, students explore the arts through live performances, hands-on learning, professional mentorship, and career exploration opportunities. Whether they dream of performing on stage or working behind the scenes, TalentED provides pathways that foster creativity, confidence, and connection.
Programs That Inspire Every Age
Beyond the Spotlight introduces students to the many careers that bring live performances to life, including directing, design, technical production, marketing, administration, and education. Through tours, mentorships, and theatrical experiences, students gain an inside look at the arts industry.
Through Any Given Child, TPAC partners with Tulsa Public Schools and local arts organizations to ensure thousands of students experience professional live performances that enrich classroom learning.
The Imagination Series introduces young audiences to curriculum-connected productions that encourage literacy, creativity, and social-emotional learning.
The Discovery Awards celebrate excellence in high school musical theatre while providing opportunities for students and educators across the region.
PRISM creates a welcoming space where LGBTQ+ youth and allies connect through artistic expression, storytelling, workshops, and community.
The Next Narrative Monologue Competition gives students the opportunity to perform works by acclaimed Black playwrights and receive professional coaching.
Finally, the TPAC Youth Advisory Board helps students develop leadership skills while collaborating with TPAC staff.
